THE ANNUAL BEETHOVEN 5K HOSTED BY THE FLAGSTAFF SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA IS A RUN THAT CELEBRATES CLASSICAL MUSIC, NATURE, COMMUNITY, AND 75 YEARS OF FSO!
FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA – On Saturday, June 7th at 8:00am at Fort Tuthill County Park, the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra is hosting the annual Beethoven 5k! This is a community run that celebrates classical music, nature, community and the 75 years of joy and inspiration FSO has offered to all residents of Flagstaff.
Why Beethoven? The opening four-note motif of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony is one of the most recognizable and iconic sequences in classical music. Beethoven’s influence is immeasurable, and he left an enduring legacy that continues to inspire musicians and audiences. FSO’s Beethoven 5K is a movement in support of music that transforms
lives.
Your participation fuels educational outreach like Link Up; The Lullaby Project, which empowers new parents and their children through music and personal connection; and
world-class performances that connect us all. Music has the power to unite, uplift, and heal. With every step you take, you’re helping us keep that music alive.

The run is a timed event sure to suit the competitive nature of running enthusiasts. However, walkers and joggers are all welcome. Each participant will receive a custom race tee-shirt in a technical fabric material and a timing bib. Plus, top placers will receive an award.
