Event Description:
The NAZBA Wednesday Night Blues Jam at Charly's this month is a gaggle of guitarists! Starting off the month from Prescott is Elvin Killerbee where you'll get a dose of Blues classics, with a taste of SRV, all with a Louisiana flair!
Next up from PHX is Big Daddy D, Darryl Porras! You can expect Blues from the masters as well as current artists, all done with excellent musicianship and style.
The third Wednesday up from Cottonwood, is Garry Segal! This multi-instumentalist presents a wide range of Blues music, where you'll hear him equally skilled on the guitar, slide guitar, or the Mississippi saxophone, and his well-known on-stage antics will make you smile!
The last Wednesday of the month features Max Tovstyi, from PHX, by way of the Ukraine! Whether it's SRV, Hendrix or one of the more traditional Blues artists, you'll hear and feel great energy from this young outstanding player.
After the first set, we bring up jammers to play alongside the featured artists and a lot of fun happens during the next one and half hours! There is a great spontaneity that happens during the jam portion of the show that regulars have come to understand and enjoy!
