Join us April 12 for the Opening Reception of THE FUTURE IS INDIGENOUS: Messages to the Seventh Generation at Coconino Center for the Arts! Curated by Jihan Gearon, THE FUTURE IS INDIGENOUS: Messages to the Seventh Generation includes work by Zefren Anderson, Corey Begay, Averian Chee, Jihan Gearon, Jay Redhouse, Monica Wapapa, and Janet Yazzie.

Gearon expands on the theme: “The contemporary Indigenous artists participating in this exhibition not only showcase Indigenous excellence in the arts, but also offer their grounded, unique, and courageous messages to us and the next seven generations.”
